“Dear Joanne, I cannot thank you enough. You have been so kind and supportive from pregnancy and beyond. I’m  glad we’re friends and I am so glad all three of you came into my life. You helped me become more of myself, powerful and strong. You were like angels to me for the birth and especially afterwards. I felt so much love from you. I hope sometime I can do something nice for you. I wish you peace, love, joy, harmony, and all the good stuff to you and your family. You are a very wise person who I enjoy talking to and I hope to see you soon and often during the summer.”

“Dear Joanne, I want to thank you for a truly gratifying experience. When I met you I was uncertain and felt somewhat isolated in my decision to have an alternative birth. You did far more than come over one day to help with the birth of a baby, you gave me the confidence to allow me to be able to trust in my body and the guidance to prepare for what lie ahead. Over the months that I met with you I felt empowered in my choices and the people around me came to understand I was making the best decisions for me and my baby. I am delighted with my Amelia and look forward to guiding her through childhood and the world around her.”

“Dear Joanne,  Thank you so much for being my midwife and helping me with the birth of baby number 5! You have given me excellent care as well as being especially kind. It has been a joy to get to know you better these past few months, and thank you for letting my kids come along for my appointments. God bless you.”

“Dear Joanne, Thank you again for making the birth of Charlie everything I hoped for. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of my labor and the moment he was born. I can’t thank you enough. I hope  you enjoy your Valentine’s Day- I was thinking of you when I passed by Jagiellky’s.”

“Dear Joanne, I want to thank you so much for all the effort you put into me. I gained and learned so much from you. I feel that because of you I ate healthier and was able to do the best for my babies. You played a big part during my pregnancy and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish you good luck and feel privileged that I got to know you.”

“Dear Joanne, Thank you so much for a wonderful birth! Rosa smiled at two weeks and laughed at three which I think has a lot to do with her birth experience.  This birth makes me wonder how “important” waiting until 10cm really is. The hardest part of Corinna’s birth was trying not to push because I was only 9cm…..oh well, if thats the only complaint I’m doing better than most! After the experience I had and recently seeing the movie “Babies”, I’m so glad my birth was most like the African birth and least like the American one! The image I will take from Rosa’s birth is one of the calm voices and crickets chirping-and a sweet baby in my arms.”

“Dear Joanne, Thank you once again for being there for me when I needed you most. You were my listening ear, my shoulder to lean on, and my encouraging friend. Your calm and reassuring personality helped me through my labor and birth, making it to be a much more positive and uplifting experience. After Yaakov was born, your time and patience showed me how you cared so much that I should have everything I needed. You sat with me when I cried in pain, and felt in my joy and relief when G-d did miracles for me. You encouraged me every step of the way with your kind heart. I can’t thank you enough for being G-d’s messenger to help me deliver my precious babies. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the baby boy clothing you brought over. I didn’t have to buy a thing for Yaakov-he has an entire wardrobe of beautiful clothing. May G-d help you to continue to do your special job of helping mothers bring their loved ones into this world.”
